More than a hundred leaders belonging to INTUC, State unit and other organisations led by Dr Rama Chandra Khuntia met Congress’ Odisha in-charge Dr A Chellakumar here and placed a demand addressing AICC for immediate appointment of Rahul Gandhi as party president.
They praised incumbent AICC president Sonia Gandhi and MP Rahul Gandhi for their help to migrant labourers, construction workers and people working under the MGNREGA.Dr Khuntia told Dr Chellakumar that the INTUC strongly opposes the four anti-labour codes and anti-farmers Bilsl in the interest of farmers and workers.
