At a time when the political parties are intensely, turning tech-savvy to propagate their ideas and thoughts besides to remain connected with the people, their workers and leaders, the BJD on the occasion of its zonal convention of its youth wing, BYJD, launched an App made by the party.
It was launched by party president and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik.
Anyone having a smart phone can download the App, in his or her phone from Google play store.
After filling the required fields, including name, address, contact number etc and registering a click one can become member of the party within seconds with his or her photograph.
Besides explaining about the App which was developed by the party, Baleswar MP RK Jena made a live demonstration of functioning of the APP in presence of CM Patnaik and other members of the party.
The zonal convention cum training programme for the youths of Baleswar, Bhadrak, Mayurbhanj and Keonjhar was held here on Tuesday.
