The Vigilance police on Saturday caught Surendra Sahu, Additional Programme Officer (APO) of Naktideul block in Sambalpur district red-handed accepting a bribe of Rs 4,000.
Sahu had demanded the bribe from a complainant relating to a canal work. Following the trap, search was conducted on the residential Government quarter of Sahu at Block Colony in Naktideul. The accused APO was arrested and later forwarded to court.
