The World Chess Federation (FIDE) nominated Odisha's candidate Master and Fide arbiter Aparajita Gochhikar as Fair Play Expert in Fair Play Panel for the forthcoming FIDE Chess Olympiad 2022 which is scheduled to be held at Mahabalipuram, Chennai from July 28 to August 10.
Chess Olympiad is the biggest chess spectacle of World Chess Calendar where teams across 188 counties would be participating. Eighteen Fair Play experts from across the globe have been nominated by FIDE and Aparajita nominated as one of the 18 Fair Play Experts assigned with duties in Fair Play Panel (FPP).
It is a huge responsibility on 29-year-old Aparajita assigned by the World Chess Federation (FIDE) to ensure Fair Olympiad.
