The areas under Paralakhemundi side on the Odisha-Andhra border were sealed on Monday in order to contain Covid-19 infection.
No trespassers were allowed either to enter or exit without valid prescribed documents in areas like Dhamunigaon and Labanyagada ofGosani; Bistala and Hadubhangi of Kashinagar and Kamalapur of Mohana blocks.
Except students studying in Pathapatnam of Andhra Pradesh, nobody will be allowed to go border without proper documents like antigen negative reports or two doses of Covid-19 vaccines within 72 hours, said Collector Anupam Saha and warned of stringent action against the violators.
SP Tapan Kumar Patnaik took a whirlwind tour of the border points to take stock of the situation.
