The All India Youth Conference, organised by the International Indecency Prevention Movement, was held at the premises of the National School of Decency at Udayagiri in Jajpur district from January 1 to 3.
Guests opined that there is possibility of building up a decent society as dreamt by Pujyashree Kumar Bhai, founder of the movement. Veteran Gandhian Dr SN Subarao, former Vice-Chancellor of the Fakir Mohan University Prof Sukadev Nanda, Dr BK Das, Prof Shankar Kumar Sanyal, former MP Mohan Jena, Jajpur district Collector Satya Kumar Mallick, scientist Ajay Kumar Mohanty from NASA joined the programme as guests. International Indecency Prevention Movement director Satyabhama Debi presided over the event. Conference chairperson Arundhati Debi also spoke.
A Souvenir Yubasurya, the Universal Truth and Approaches to Peace: Contributions of Buddha and Gandhi was unveiled during the programme. Flag of Decency was hosted by freedom fighter Baidehi Panda. Educative cultural programmes were performed by the school students.
