The Second Freedom Fighters (SFF), a forum fighting against corruption, on Tuesday threatened to stage demonstration in New Delhi if the State Government fails to take visionary steps making a corruption-free Odisha.
In a letter to President, SFF convenor Priya Ranjan Mishra stated that, “The corruption has occupied its space in every department of Odisha Government. Everyone is raising their voice against corruption and administrative system of Odisha in different types. Some social activists do protest in democratic way but the police administration forcefully robbed the constitutional rights of those people.”
We urged the Government to ensure proactive steps thereby facilitating corruption free Odisha by January 13. “Otherwise we will be forced to sit on dharana at Jantar Mantar for an indefinite period from January 14,” stated the letter.
