The city-based Centre for Child and Women Development (CCWD) in collaboration with the ActionAid held an awareness drive against child marriage at the Path Utsav here on Sunday.
More than 40 volunteers holding placards with slogans like ‘Asa aji ame sapath neba balya bibhahaku dura kariba’, ‘Child marriage a losing game’ and ‘Say no to child marriage’ marched on the Janpath. CCWD secretary Sadasiv Swain, Mayor Ananta Narayan Jena, Bhubaneswar MP Prasana Patasani joined the programme.
