Following detection of more Covid-19 positive cases, the Rourkela Municipal Corporation (RMC) declared one more area as a Micro Containment Zone on Saturday.
RMC Commissioner Dibyajyoti Parida declared PF Colony of Industrial Estate as the Micro Containment Zone. Several measures would be taken for active contract tracing and to contain further spread of the virus in the area.
As part of the measures, all vehicular movements, both public transport and personal movement, would be stopped in the area. All inhabitants within the containment zone would strictly remain indoors.
