A young Supreme Court lawyer from Odisha, Sachin Das, has died of Covid in New Delhi.
Das, a resident of Tulasi Nagar of Brahmapury had been admitted to the Lady Hardinge Medical College Hospital in Delhi four days ago after being infected with coronavirus. While under treatment, his oxygen level dropped and he died on Thursday evening.
He was the second Odia lawyer at the Supreme Court who has succumbed to Covid in a week. On April 25, advocate Manoj Das had passed away while undergoing treatment at the Sharada Hospital in Greater Noida.
