After 15 days of the sensational robbery in the house of former High Court Judge PK Mohanty in Cuttack, another judge’s ancestral house in Jagatsinghpur district was burgled on Sunday night. Dacoits struck at the house of Subodh Kanungo, Judicial Magistrate First Cass (JMFC) of Bhawanipatna, and looted Rs30,000 cash and 10 grams of gold jewellery from the judge’s house at Kania village under the Balikuda police limits in Jagatsinghpur district. The incident came to light when the family registered an FIR with Balikuda police on Monday. Following the complaint, the police visited the village and started investigation. However, no one has so far been arrested in this connection.
