A 28-year-old electrical engineer died on Friday at Bhubaneswar-based Apollo Hospital while he was undergoing treatment for dengue over last two weeks.
The deceased was identified as Smruti Ranjan lenka, son of Havildar Pratap lenka of Adampur Belana village under Marshaghai police station. last month he had gone to Delhi to work in a company. After working in the company for nearly two weeks, Smruti Ranjan suffered from dengue fever.
As a result, he returned to his native village and was later rushed to the SCB Medical College and Hospital at Cuttack. But he was on September 11 last shifted to the Apollo Hospital for treatment.
