The Saheednagar Police on Saturday arrested an owner of a chit fund company from Jayadev Vihar here on Saturday.
According to police sources, Subhashakti Investment Solution Pvt ltd managing director Hemant Kumar Samantray duped people of Rs 20 crore in the pretext of high interest.Since he did not return the money as per the agreement, the depositors pleaded police for action against the company.Acting on the complaints, the Saheednagar cops nabbed Hemant near Jayadev Vihar and seized a costly car from his possession.Investigation is on to unearth the detail about the company’s operation and the real amount duped from how many persons, said police sources.
