At a time when the controversy over BJB College student Ruchika Mohanty, who ended her life allegedly due to ragging, is yet to die down, another student of the college has brought ragging allegations against his seniors.
The victim, a Plus Two Arts student, has filed a complaint in this connection at the Badagada police station that some of his seniors subjected him to mental and physical torture.
“I lodged an FIR against them (the accused) around 10 days ago. They ragged me and asked why I was bringing the bike to the college. They even thrashed me. Besides an FIR in the police station, I had even given a report in this regard to the college authorities. But neither police nor the college authorities took any steps,” the victim alleged.
“Today (Wednesday), they dragged me from the Plus Two campus to the Plus Three campus and thrashed me,” he added.
However, the BJB college authorities were yet to react to the allegations.
