The Principal Accountant General (Ecology and Revenue Sector Audit) of the Comptroller and Auditor General of India, Anita Pattanayak, has been promoted to the Additional Deputy Comptroller and Auditor General (North Eastern Region).
Pattanayak will be relieved by Principal Accountant General (G &SSA), Karnataka DJ Bhadra, who will hold additional charge of the post till further orders.
Notably, Pattanayk is the first Odia woman to achieve the position.
Prior to this, Pattanayak has served as the auditor general in Maharashtra, West Bengal, Karnataka and Odisha.
