Around 350 inmates and staffs of the Angul Jail have been vaccinated with Covid-19 precaution dose with the help of the Angul Zila Swasthya Samiti and the Plan India M-RITE Project.
With the support of the Jail Superintendent, Plan India’s Tika Karan Mitra, Suresh Naik and Bikas Sahoo mobilised the prison inmates for vaccination for their safety measure and prepared the database.
Plan India Cluster district coordinator told that more and more vulnerable people will be covered by special vaccination camps in the district. Among others, Jail Superintendent Suchitra Das, CDPC, Angul and Boudh Sanjit Pattanaik, Dr Chiranjib Pradhan, Jailer Subhasmita Biswal, Assistant Jailer Bhagan Behera, Pharmacist Kedarnath Jotish, Dr Chiranjibi Pradhan, Vaccinator Sasmita Saho (ANM), Rani Das, DEO, Amit Palei and In charge DDM Papun Dehury were present.
