As part of its operations against Ganja mafias, the Angul police have now started a process to forfeit properties worth Rs3 crore of one Chagali alias Divakar Sahu, a Ganja mafia, of Handapa in Angul district.
Notably, the police had arrested one Babuli Sahu for carrying about 200 kg of Ganja on September 11, 2012. During interrogation, the cops could know about Chagali and his Ganja business network in Angul and, later, arrested him.
Reports further revealed that Chagali has acquired a huge amount of illegal properties, including three luxurious vehicles, a building and plots, from the Ganja trade. Angul SP Narasingha Bhol has swung into action to forfeit his property.
