A supervisor of the Jagdalpur Anganwadi Centre (AWC) on the outskirts of Brahmapur city was caught red-handed by Vigilance officials on Saturday while she was taking bribe of Rs 4,000 from an Anganwadi Worker.
According to reports, Anganwadi Supervisor Narmada Bisoyee had asked an Angawadi Worker Maya Dei of lochapada in the city to deposit Rs 5,000 after selling the food materials coming to the latter’s AWC. Dei informed the Vigilance officials regarding the issue and urged to take immediate action against the supervisor.
