A special train ‘Amrit Kalash Yatra’ was flagged off from the Bhubaneswar railway station on Saturday by Union Minister of Education, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Dharmendra Pradhan.
The train carried more than 1,400 participants and officials of the 'Meri Maati Mera Desh' programme scheduled to be held on October 30 and 31 at New Delhi.
MPs Pratap Sarangi, Aparajita Sarangi and Muzibulla Khan, MLA Lalitendu Bidyadhar Mohapatra, Principal heads of the departments and senior officials of ECoR including Additional General Manager Sharad Kumar Srivastava, Khurda Road Divisional Railway Manager HS Bajwa and other eminent personalities were also present.
