BJP national president Amit Shah’s visit to Sambalpur on Friday was cancelled in the wake of terror attack in Pulwama of Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday.
All political programmes of the BJP president scheduled for the day were cancelled.
Shah was scheduled to attend the party’s ‘Karyakarta Samabesh’ in Sambalpur during which he would have chaired a meeting with booth- level organisers of the Dhenkanal, Sambalpur, Bargarh and Sundargarh Lok Sabha constituencies, said party State spokesperson Golak Mohapatra.
