Vigilance officers on Friday arrested Keonjhar Special Planning Authority office Amin-cum-Field Assistant Antaryami Das for demanding and accepting bribe of Rs 10,000 from Bichitrananda Barik of Satasinga village under Keonjarh Town PS to facilitate approval of his building plan.
On the complaint of Barik, the anti-corruption agency sleuths laid a trap and caught him red-handed while taking bribe. He was later produced in a court and then remanded to judicial custody till April 16. Further investigation was on, said an official release.
