The Nimapara block Biju Janata Dal (BJD) organised an “Ama Gaon Ama Vikash- Ama Sahara Ama Unnati’” programme at the RCMS ground here on Saturday.
This was a counter meeting against the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) “Mo Booth, Sabuthu Majbhoot” campaign.
Agriculture Minister Damodar Rout, Revenue Minister Maheswar Mohanty, Panchayati Raj Minister Pradeep Maharathy, Nimapara MlA Samir Ranjan Dash, Satyabadi MlA Umakanta Samantaray and Kakatpur MlA Surendra Sethy addressing the gathering severely criticised the Narendra Modi Government and termed it as a “Government against Odisha”.
The absence of Brahmagiri MlA Sanjaya Dasburma at the meeting was topic of hot discussion.
Among others, BJD Sarpanches, Panchayat Samiti members, Zilla Parishad members, block chairmen and the local NAC chairman were present.
