Terming BJP national president Amit Shah as communal, members of the Ama Adhikar, a youth forum, on Sunday said they would protest Shah’s meeting scheduled to be held on January 6 here.
“Shah has already sown communal hatred seeds in Gujarat and Muzaffernagar of Uttar Pradesh. Now, he wants to sow the same seem in Odisha. But peace-loving Odisha people would not tolerate it,” said Ama Adhikar coordinator Amiya Pandab and general secretary Ganesh Das in a joint statement. They demanded that the BJP should make a statement as to what steps it has taken to provide jobs to unemployed youths and bring back black money from foreign banks. They also alleged that the BJP is trying to protect industrialists’ interest through the land Acquisition Amendment ordinance.
