Laxmi Narayan Mittal, CEO of Arcelormittal, came to Paradip on a visit on Saturday. He first visited the Arcelor-Nippon Steel India Company office and held talks with officials. He later went to Paradip Port administrative building and held talks with the port authorities and with PPT Chairman in a videoconference.From there, he toured the site of the company’s proposed steel plant in Kendrapada district. PPT Vice-Chairman AK Bose, along with other officials, inspected the surrounding condition of the plant and discussed about how it would be perfect location. Mittal ascertained the details of transportation of raw materials and manufactured goods of the proposed plant.
