The Raghunathpali police on Saturday arrested and forwarded to court all the five accused persons, including a driver, in connection with the company loot case occurred in Sector-7 on December 13, 2013.
The arrested have been identified as Muna Kumar Sah (26), Jitendra Behera alias Jitu (30), Pratap Badaik (28), Chitaranjan Rout alias Chita (30) and Rajesh lohra (23). The police recovered Rs 4.95 lakh, four motor cycles, six mobile phones, a knife and a country-made single-shot pistol from their possession. According to SP Rourkela AN Sinha, the miscreants had looted Rs 14 lakh from Vishal Ferro Alloys ltd’s Kalunga office and inured an employee before fleeing from the spot.
