After gathering information from the call details from the mobile of the main accused in the Alakananda Mishra murder case, Paresh Mohapatra, the Markatnagar Police is all set to bring him on remand for interrogation to know the exact reason of the murder on Thursday.
“We will appeal to the Court on Thursday for remand of Paresh and we hope the court will allow us to bring him for interrogation to establish the real motive of the murder,” said police sources.
Earlier during investigation the police had found that Alakananda had called up Paresh Mohapatra, her live-in partner, at least 10 times on July 29, the day she was murdered, but he did not respond to her calls. She had also sent SMSes to Paresh but he chose not to answer them.
