Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar has expressed his gratitude to Odisha Mo Parivar Coordinator Subash Chandra Moharana for his timely help to the wife of the former’s house help. In a letter to Moharana, Akshay Kumar said, “I would like to take this opportunity to convey my sincerest appreciation for the massive help that you extended towards my house help during these difficult times.”
Notably, Akshay Kumar had contacted some senior officials of the State Government but did not get any adequate response. So, on May 6, the actor called up Odisha Mo Parivar Convener Arup Patnaik informing that his house help Tutu Bhuyan’ wife Sangeeta was admitted to the MKCG Medical College Hospital in Brahmapur for an operation. But Tutu was unable to get any information about the condition of his wife. When Akshay Kumar contacted Patnaik and briefed him about the issue, the latter spoke to the Ganjan District Jeevan Bindu Coordinator Moharana.
Immediately, Moharana visited MKCG Hospital and made all kinds of arrangement for treatment of Tutu’s wife, who was later operated upon successfully. ‘Odisha Mo Parivar’ is a social service initiative of ruling BJD having been launched in October 2019.
