A user trial of the short-range surface-to-air antiaircraft missile Akash was conducted from the ITR base of Chandipur near here at around 12.30 pm on Wednesday.The missile targeted a floating object supported by Pilotless Target Aircraft (PTA) lakshya, which had been flown about a few minutes ago.There was, however, no official confirmation to the result of the trial that was conducted by the Indian Air Force (IAF).
