In the port and industrial city of Paradip, many social and labor organisations have been formed to protect labor interests. However, for many years, for the weak and selfish leadership, the protection of local workers' interests in Paradip has been a mere myth.
In view of this, 'Aama Kujang Aama Paradip' (AKAP) has been formed. In a Press meet held on Saturday, president of the organisation Prakash Chandra Tripathy, working president Jinmayee Sahani and secretary Debabrata Sahoo informed that the new organisation will work to safeguard the interests of local people and workers.
In addition, Tripathy alleged how a syndicate group and so-called labor leader Bapi Sarkhel are living in luxury by sacrificing the interests of Paradip. Tripathy informed that his organisation will complain with CBI and ED to investigate the matter.
