The Airport Advisory Committee on Thursday met at the Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA) here under chairmahship of MP Prasanna Patasani.
Airport Director SC Hota welcoming all outlined various improvement steps being taken by the Airport Authority of India (AAI) for the city airport. Committee members suggested various points for improvement of the Airport services.
Hota too informed about the AAI plans for the BPIA and described various steps underway now to make the airport more friendly and comfortable for passengers.
While the committee members were unanimous in their views that significant progress has been made for the airport, yet they felt that further improvement in services is required, including commencement of new flights, both domestic and international ones, to the city airport.
