The AFA ( Air Force Association), a body of retired IAF personnel, donated an amount of Rs 51,000 towards the Chief Minister Relief Fund (CMRF) in view of the Covid-19 pandemic through ADM Sambit Nayak .
The Air Force veterans of AFA Baleswar chapter, including president DP Bhuyan, secretary Maheswar Behera, RK Bhuyan, Ashok Dash, Maheswar Behera(B), Sibdas Kundu and BK Mohanty were present .
On the occasion, the executive body members presented a memorandum to the district administration, urging early intervention on the opening of ZSB ( Zilla Sainik Board) by posting officer and staff which remained closed for over two months.
They said that the closure was causing immense problems to the retired defence personnel and their families of Baleswar, Bhadrak and Mayurbhanj who depend on the office in the region for various works.
