The All India Progressive Women’s Association (AIPWA) on Wednesday demanded stringent action against the culprits in the Puri gangrape case.
Stating that most atrocities against women are happening due to consumption of alcohol, AIPWA State secretary Mandakini Sethi demanded total prohibition in the State.
She said that if police take appropriate action against the culprits then many victims would get justice. The association also demanded compensation for the victims.
