BJP State executive member Subash Chauhan has urged Union Health and Family Welfare Minister JP Nadda to establish a feeder hospital of the AIIMS Bhubaneswar in Bargarh district soon.
“Many high standard hospitals like the AIIMS have feeder units to provide treatment to common people at their door steps in order to curtail crowds in the main hospital. Bargarh is well connected and equidistant to small towns like Jharsuguda, Brajarajnagar, Belpahar, Barpali and Jharbandh. If a feeder hospital is set up at Bargarh, as many as 50 lakh people belonging to western Odisha will benefit,” Chauhan urged. He suggested that the newly constructed hospital building can be used for the purpose.
