The AIIMS Bhubaneswar has added another feather in its cap. Under the leadership of its Director Dr Gitanjali Batmanabane, the AIIMS Bhubaneswar has successfully mentored the AIIMS Guwahati faculty to conduct its first professional examination. The practical examination is scheduled to start on Thursday.
The first academic year of MBBS students at the AIIMS Guwahati which started on January 12 has been mentored by Dr Batmanabane, who is presently holding additional charge of the AIIMS Guwahati.
The AIIMS Bhubaneswar has mentored two new AIIMSs, Kalyani (West Bengal) and Guwahati to start their academic programmes. Dr Batmanabane had also earlier handled similar responsibilities as the Director (additional charges) for AIIMS Patna and AIIMS Kalyani.
AIIMS Bhubaneswar Deputy Director Administration (DDA) PK Ray is also in charge of DDA at AIIMS Guwahati.
The AIIMS Bhubaneswar is now playing a pivotal role providing quality healthcare as well as ushering new inventions in medical research.
