Agitation was renewed at the Khallikote University here on Wednesday demanding rechecking of students’ back papers. The All India Democratic Students Organisation (AIDSO) staged a dharna in front of the university’s administrative block.
According to sources, a student of Chemistry, 13 of Science, 17 of History and one in Chemistry have got back papers.
The AIDSO alleged that the results were published after the dates of fourth semester examination and form fill up for back papers were declared which has created suspicion among the students.
Another question doing the rounds among the students is how can a student have back paper after scoring 70 per cent and above marks in the internal paper in the respective subjectIJ
The students’ body suspected that there has been wrong evaluation of the answer sheets and said they would continue the agitation till the demands are fulfilled.
The students’ body has also demanded the authorities to re-evaluate the back papers of the students without any charges. Among others, D Tirupati Dora, Krushna Chandra Pradhan, Sanjay Pradhan, G Puja and Anita Sahoo were present.
