Prime Minister Modi’s Baripada speech on Saturday further fuelled the political debate as to why he was again “soft” on Chief Minister and the BJD Government during his second visit to the State within two weeks.
Modi, who was addressing the State BJP’s ongoing “Odisha Maguchhi Jabab” meaning “Odisha demands answers” (from the State Government) at Baripada, refrained from issues relating to the State except a few.
At Modi’s Khordha meeting on December 24, he had touched upon several Odisha issues though without any direct references to Naveen Patnaik and the BJD.
