Advocate Nishikant Mishra of the Odisha High Court was recently conferred with the Seva Chakra Samman by the All India Economic Survey Award Council in New Delhi.
Mishra, head of the India Media Centre has earned a name in the State for raising social issues afflicting the common man both in the High Court and the National Human Rights Commission.
He was presented with the award by former Odisha Governor Murlidhar Chandrakant Bhandare and former Acting Chief Justice of Odisha High Court Justice IM Qudusi.
