"I had allotted Rs 40 lakh from my MLA LAD share a year ago, but ambulance could not be obtained due to Covid situation at that time. I am thankful to administration for completing all formalities for procurement of the vehicle," said Panigrahi. "The ALS aims at facilitating high-end ambulance transportation from a patient's doorstep to hospital. The ambulance will have ALS system equipped with equipments like cardiac life support, cardiac monitors as well as glucose-testing device and a paramedic on board along with an emergency medical technician," informed doctors.
