The Board of Secondary Education (BSE) on Thursday said it would release the admit cards on its official website soon for the second Odisha Teachers Eligibility Test (OTET) scheduled on December 7 this year.
Candidates appearing for OTET 2014 can download the admit cards after entering their names, registration numbers and other details from the BSE website www.bseodisha.nic.in and take a printout of the admit card.
The OTET admit card will be available on the official website of the BSE two weeks before the examinations. The candidates must bring with them their admit cards compulsorily, failing which they would not be allowed into the examination hall.
The candidates must produce a valid identity proof along with their admit cards. Printing mistakes in the admit cards should be brought to the notice of the Controller of Examinations without delay since late notification would not be accepted, said a BSE release.
It may be mentioned that the BSE conducts the OTET twice a year to recruit eligible candidates for teacher posts. The OTET is a compulsory examination for all Bed-qualified candidates to be considered for teachers’ jobs in schools run by the Government and private managements.
The first OTET was held on August 10 this year at which about 90,000 had appeared.
The results were announced on September 1.
