With first-phase polls nearing, all political parties have now expedited campaigning for their respective Assembly and Lok Sabha candidates here. Besides public meetings, candidates along with their party leaders are seen canvassing voters in the nook and corner of the city.
To boost support base of the BJP, party star campaigner and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will reach the city on Saturday. Adityanath is scheduled to address a public meeting at Vivik Vihar at 2.02 pm, informed BJP Lok Sabha candidate Bhrugu Baxipatra at a Press meet here on Friday.
Former BJP district president Kunja Bihari Panigrahi and leader Sunil Kumar Sahu said some Union Ministers and senior leaders of the party would also accompany Adityanath. Workers of the saffron party have been very enthusiastic since the news of visit of Adityanath spread.
