Aditya’s wife moves HC for CBI probe

Published on:

Bidyashree, wife of deceased social activist Aditya Dash, knocked at the doors of the Orissa High Court on Friday appealing for a CBI investigation into her husband’s death case.

Bidyashree along with Aditya’s parents approached the court seeking an order for an inquiry by the Central investigating agency.

Currently, the case is being investigated by the Crime Branch (CB). Earlier, the Government Railway Police (GRP) was probing the case.

Meanwhile, after conducting Bidyashree’s lie-detector test on Thursday, the CB on Friday conducted polygraph test of three members of NGO ‘People for Seva’, which Aditya established.

The CB conducted tests of Smruti Ranjan Sethy, Bikash Baral and Deepak Behera at the State Forensic Science Laboratory here.

The probe team decided to go for the lie detection test after statements of Bidyashree and the NGO members mismatched with each other during questioning.
