To support the Cyclone Fani-affected people of Puri, the Adani Foundation in collaboration with the district administration has provided 1,000 solar lanterns to six villages of Dharanikudi GP of Bramhagiri block in the district.
The team comprising the District Social Welfare wing, Block Development Officer, ICDS and Local
PRI members and Opinion makers facilitated the process of providing solar lantern to around 1,000 Fani-affected households who belong to Naharabali, Kuapada, MatalpurKhetandi, Dharanikudi and Janla villages.
Notably, the Adani Group contributed Rs 25 crore to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF) and also in process of supporting 1,200
chairs to the Nolias/Life Guards of Puri to revive their livelihood and handed over 1,000 mosquito nets to the
Health and Family Welfare Department for the affected people.
