The prime accused in the attack on Ollywood and opera actress Usasi Misra has filed a counter case against her for allegedly thrashing him and issuing him death threats.
The case was filed against Usasi by Indramani Sahoo at the Talcher SDJM court on April 23.
In the complaint, Indramani alleged that he was manhandled by the actress, who levelled various allegations and filed a case against him for abusing and manhandling her while she was on her way for an opera show at Deranga of the district on April 22 night.
Indramani alleged that the vehicle of Usasi had run over his foot while she was parking her car. When he opposed it, she hit him with her shoe and he fell down. She threatened to kill him and throttled his neck with her right leg, following which he became unconscious out of suffocation. locals rescued him, said Indramani’s counsel on Thursday.
The case has been forwarded to the Kaniha police station for investigation. Now, the case is in progress as investigation is going on, the counsel said.
