Bollywood actress Urmila Matondkar, who is on a visit to the State, was detained by the Biju Patnaik International Airport parking lot staffs here for some time for refusing to pay parking fee on Wednesday.
Sources said the Rangeela fame actress, who is here to attend a film award function, was received at the airport by a production team. The car carrying the production team members did not pay the parking fee and left.
However, the parking lot staffs stopped Urmila’s car and asked her to pay the parking fee.
But she also refused to pay the fees and was detained for about 20 minutes. Getting information, media personnel rushed to the spot. But before they could speak to her, she left the spot in a hurry without paying the fees.
