Social activist and community media specialist NA Shah Ansari has sent a demand draft of `200 to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to provide him a BSNl 256K nano SIM.
Even after several slogans of Digital India, consumers are still waiting to get minimum service from the Bharat Sanchar Nigam limited (BSNl), said Ansari. He is struggling to get a 256K nano SIM since last six months. He has also made several appeals through different public grievance lodging and monitoring systems of the BSNl and the State Government, but in vain.
“When I met the GMTD on March 31 at his office, he expressed his inability to provide the SIM. It is a symbolic protest against the inactiveness of the BSNl and trial to activate digital-friendly atmosphere in the country,” said Ansari.
