Amid the opposition attacks on the Government over the alleged indecent video of party leader and BMC Mayor Ananta Narayan Jena, the ruling BJD on Friday said action would be taken after the police produce their probe report.
“The party is examining the issue and has kept a close watch on the situation. let the police verify the veracity of the video and let the probe report come. Action will be taken accordingly,” BJD spokesperson Pratap Keshari Deb told mediapersons here.
A video that shows a man having close resemblance with the BMC Mayor along with another person purportedly having intimate moments with a woman went viral on social networking site on Thursday attracting widespread reactions.
