The Baleswar police arrested an accused involved in an acid throwing incident that occurred in November last year. He is a juvenile who had thrown acid on a Plus II first year student of Nilgiri. The police produced him before the court of chief judicial magistrate which sent him to correctional home in Angul. SP Awinash Kumar said, “The motive behind throwing the acid on the victim was previous grudge.”
