Earlier on Wednesday, a woman Sony Poddar and her two minor daughters were found dead in their house at Fatakapada in Brajarajnagar.. As the deceased woman’s husband Narayan Poddar was missing after the incident, police and the deceased woman’s family were suspecting his involvement in killing his wife and two daughters. However, Narayan’s body was recovered from a well near the house. Police have recovered the body and started investigation to ascertain the circumstances under which the four members of the family died.
Jharsuguda SP Bikash Das said after getting the postmortem and other medical test reports, it can be ascertained what actually happened. Sources said Narayan’s younger brother has been detained for questioning.
