A delegation of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) met the victim of the private residential college ragging case of Nayagarh district and his parents at the Capital Hospital here on Tuesday.
The members demanded stern action against the culprits.
They also criticised the increasing rate of Plus-II private residential colleges in Bhubaneswar. They demanded that a regulatory body be formed to regulate the Plus-II private residential colleges.
ABVP State secretary Abhilas Panda said, “We will submit a memorandum to the Nayagarh Collector and the Child Welfare Committee Officer on Wednesday.”
ABVP State co-coordinator Omkar Parida, Natyagarh distrct convenor Bailochan Sahoo and Nayagarh students’ leader Shibaram Mohapatra were present, among others.
