A delegation of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) on Thursday submitted a thirteen-point charter of demands to Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT) Vice-Chancellor Prof Chitta Ranjan Tripathy pressing for fulfilment of various demands.
The team led by ABVP technical cell State convenor Satya Prakash Mishra demanded issuance of pending certificates to all students at the earliest, filling up of the vacant posts of teachers, zero tolerance on erroneous activities and holding of admission and examinations and publication of results on time.
The VC reportedly assured to look into the demands at the earliest. He also said the functioning of the colleges under the BPUT would be reviewed during surprise visits.
